Valetta SuRae is a physical fitness expert, personal trainer, international raw food chef, and U.S. Army Veteran. SuRae’s modern approach to fitness, health, and nutrition began in her 24 years of service with the U.S. Army as a drill instructor and trainer to help soldiers meet the Army’s standards of physical fitness. At Fort Dix, NJ, SuRae served as a drill sergeant and helped out-of-shape recruits lose up to 40 pounds, gain confidence, muscle, and get fit. As a drill sergeant, SuRae had to be more fit than her soldiers. She wanted to prove herself every cycle. Every class that she trained, she had to run faster, work harder, and get better performance out of her soldiers. Through her experience as a volunteer personal trainer for the military in the continental united states and abroad, her passion for healthy lifestyles boomed.
SuRae has held other career paths such as Hair Stylist, Barber, and Make-up Artist for Stage, Screen and Music Videos, during which she heard stories from people around the world and from all walks of life. Everyone seem to be broken or felt damaged and out of balance in some health way and SuRae was motivated to make a change in their lives. This is what sent her into wellness, vitality and nutrition.
With years of experience under her belt, SuRae utilizes drive, determination, and knowledge about age old remedies, natural applications, and whole foods to help everyone she can. She believes that it is simplicity in all these aspects that will enrich the body, empower the individual, and aid in fitness pursuits. Today, SuRae serves as a raw vegan chef, a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and key note speaker for health, wellness, and nutrition. She has been featured in the Washington Post, the Stuttgart Citizen, The Morning Call of the Lehigh Valley as well as a featured guest on numerous radio and television shows that focus on health and fitness.
SuRae’s passion for and skill at helping others improve their overall wellness has proven to make a difference in the lives of so many already. With a personal background in holistic health, fitness and nutrition, SuRae strives to spread pure food, radiant health and vibrant fitness.
